UNI EN 1434-6 in Italian language the norm on heat meters
The Technical Commission CTI – heat metering, published the European standard EN 1464-6 on the installation, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of heat meters.
UNI EN 1434-6: 2016 “Heat meters – Part 6: Installation, commissioning, inspection and maintenance” specifies the procedures for installation, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of heat meters.
The heat meters are instruments intended for measurement of heat which, in a heat exchange circuit, is absorbed (cooling) or assigned (heating) by a heat transfer fluid. The heat meter indicates the amount of heat in legal units of measurement.
The rule is not the temperature sensors mounted on the surface and does not affect the electrical safety requirements and the safety requirements against the pressure.
